About Us
Anna Rose Carrigan, MSW
Clinician
My name is Anna Rose Carrigan, and I am a clinical social worker. I received my Associate's degree in Animal Science in 2010 and got my Master's degree in Social Work in 2014, both from the University of New Hampshire. Since I was young, I was aware of the powerful impact that the presence of animals had on people, and had on me. It has been a career goal of mine to bridge my two passions and disciplines in offering animal-assisted therapy to those on their healing journeys. Since becoming certified in Eagala in the fall of 2020 I am excited to finally make that dream a reality. After getting my degree, I worked as a licensed social worker in the state of Maine before moving to community work inside the field of public health. I have spent my clinical career working with children, families, and women recovering from substance abuse. I approach my work with Clients from a trauma-informed lens. I believe that all people innately know what they need to heal, and that my role as therapist is to be a facilitator for Clients on their self-directed healing journey. I have been riding and working with horses for almost 25 years. They have always provided me with a sense of grounding, and I look forward to being part of a process where others can have that experience with them.
Please note that due to licensing rules in NH, I am not currently independently licensed, and am working under the clinical supervision of Sally Sugatt, LICSW as I work toward independent licensure.
Stacia Langille
Facility Owner and Manager, Horse Care
My life has led me through many paths, with professional experience as an instructor, trainer, and for over the past decade; a farrier. I have spent time in many different equestrian settings in a variety of roles, and the insight I have gained during this time is reflected in the spirit of excellence and kindness that I pride myself on at Ancora Imparo Equine Center. My current work is multi-faceted, ranging from continuing to enjoy my professional life with my farrier practice, to continue to develop AIEC as a showcase of premier care.
Antoinette LaPlante
Equine Specialist
I started my equine career over 20 years ago as a stable-hand on NH's Seacoast to earn riding lessons. Trained under the Hunter- Jumper discipline, riding was never as important to me as the animal husbandry side of the equine world. Flash forward to 2017, I was gifted the opportunity to run a 12-horse boarding facility on the Seacoast where I grew up. Being caretaker to 10 retired Broodmares was a priceless education! In 2020, I joined Stacia Langille at her Ancora Imparo Natural Horsemanship Center in Boscawen NH. Currently acting as a Stable-hand gives me the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful facility alongside my 15 year old QH Cross gelding, Yawkee. With 20 years in the equine world, Eagala is the next chapter in my life. As an Equine Specialist I am able to use my education, experience, and passion to assist others.
